The Member for Davidson Jonathan O’Dea put the Police Minister David Campbell on the spot in NSW Parliament today when he asked a question without notice on why he made up claims of widespread credit card fraud in a media release on 28 March 2008. 

The Member for Davidson Jonathan O’Dea was delighted with the second Davidson Business Breakfast held on Friday, 4 April at which Deputy Federal Opposition Leader Julie Bishop was the keynote speaker. 

The Older drivers forum held at the St Ives Community Hall on 28 September last year and subsequent representations have proved fruitful even though older drivers failed to achieve all they hoped, according to Jonathan O’Dea, the Member for Davidson. 

Speaking in Parliament today the Member for Davidson, Jonathan O’Dea, backed calls for the Truth in Advertising Bill 2007 to be adopted, despite opposition from Iemma Government MPs.

Today the NSW Parliament Legislative Assembly passed the Local Government Amendment (Election Date) Bill to move the election date for the local government elections from the fourth to second Saturday in September to avoid conflict with school holidays.

As the State Member for Davidson confidently predicted in Parliament last week, Planning Minister Frank Sartor has egg on his face after having to disband the first Planning Panel at Ku-ring-gai Council and appoint a new one. 

Jonathan O’Dea, the State Member for Davidson has challenged Planning Minister Frank Sartor’s treatment of the Ku-ring-gai Council area including his ill-considered appointment of the Planning Panel. In debating his motion in State Parliament yesterday Mr O’Dea called for recognition of Council’s improved performance in recent years. 

Jonathan O’Dea, the State Member for Davidson has challenged Planning Minister Frank Sartor’s treatment of Northern Sydney including the non-gazettal of urban conservation zones and his ill-considered appointment of the Planning Panel to Ku-ring-gai Council. In debating his motion in State Parliament yesterday Mr O’Dea seriously called Mr Satror’s competence into question. 

A transport survey of the Davidson Electorate has highlighted the need for park and ride facilities and an overwhelming need to improve public transport generally, according to Jonathan O’Dea, the State Member for Davidson.
