As the March 26 State election draws near, Davidson MP, Jonathan O'Dea is providing an additional opportunity for constituents in the Forestville – Frenchs Forest area to raise issues of concern.

"This is the fifth recent forum over morning tea that I have held in the electorate and will be the final one prior to the election," Mr O'Dea said.

"There are over 3,000 households in the Forestville and Frenchs Forest areas of Davidson and in recent years I have been contacted by local residents on a variety of matters.

"One of the major concerns relates to transport, including local bus services and traffic on Warringah Road.

"I have also received concerns regarding overdevelopment and the additional pressure it would place on existing infrastructure," Mr O'Dea said.

"Another major issue is the new Northern Beaches Hospital at Frenchs Forest, which the current NSW Government has failed to build, despite repeated past commitments to do so.

"The forum will be open to any issue affecting the Davidson electorate," Mr O'Dea said.

"People will be able to ask questions and discuss issues over a cuppa and biscuit.

"It is important that people make reservations to attend the forum by phoning 9880 7400 or emailing davidson@parliament.nsw.gov.au

It will be held at The Studio in the Forest Community Arts Centre, Darley Street, Forestville this Friday, 18 February from 10.00 to 11.30am.

"I look forward to people joining me at the forum for an update on state-based issues and to discuss topics of concern to them," Mr O'Dea concluded.
