The new Electorate Office for Member for Davidson, Jonathan O’Dea, has been officially opened, providing constituents with fresh new facilities for the start of the New Year.

The office was officially opened by Opposition Leader and Member for Ku-ring-gai, Barry O’Farrell, with over 80 invited guests on Friday 19 December.

Mr O’Farrell said he was delighted to join his friend and Parliamentary colleague.

"In less than two years, Jonathan has already proven himself to be a strong and vocal advocate for his local community," he said.

The move to Suite 8A, 12-18 Tryon Road at Lindfield, is just a short distance from the former office but provides a number of advantages for constituents.

The new facilities are located next to the offices of Federal Member for Bradfield, Brendan Nelson, providing a ‘one stop shop’ for anyone with Federal or State enquiries,” Mr O’Dea said.

“There is plenty of parking on site and the ground-floor location provides easy access for the disabled.

“The new office is within easy walking distance of Lindfield Railway Station and local bus routes for those who choose to travel by public transport,” Mr O’Dea said.

“Some things will remain the same however, including the phone and fax numbers, the email address and the PO Box number.

“I will continue to actively represent the electorate on a wide range of state issues, relevant to individuals and the community as a whole.

“If constituents believe I can assist on matters of concern, please do not hesitate to contact me or call in to the new office during 2009,” Mr O’Dea concluded.
