This week Liberal Candidate for Davidson, Jonathan O'Dea, and supporters have been campaigning at local shopping centres.

"I have been keen to meet as many local shoppers and shop owners as possible to introduce myself and listen to their concerns", Jonathan O'Dea said.

Mr O'Dea particularly commended Woolworths (including local stores in Forestway and St Ives Shopping Centres) for donating all their profits from sales on Tuesday 23 January to drought relief.  The money will be directed through the Country Women's Association to assist affected families and facilitate research into sustainable farming practices.

"Like so many others in our area, I have relatives on the land who are suffering with the current extended drought.  I am pleased to support this initiative, including through purchasing groceries at Woolworths today".
