Member for Willoughby, Gladys Berejiklian and Member for Davidson, Jonathan O'Dea have announced Roads and Maritime Services (RMS) is seeking community feedback on a concept design for the Boundary Street upgrade from the Pacific Highway to Melnotte Avenue at Roseville.
Ms Berejiklian said, “RMS proposes to widen Boundary Street on the northern side from the Pacific Highway to Melnotte Avenue to reduce congestion and improve traffic flow."
Mr O'Dea said, “The $20 million project is part of the NSW Government’s $125 million Pinch Point Program which aims to reduce delays and manage congestion on Sydney’s main roads during peak periods, improving road safety."
Residents and business owners are invited to information sessions on Saturday 24 November from 1pm to 4pm and Tuesday 27 November from 6:30pm to 8:30pm at East Roseville Community Centre, corner Babbage Road and Park Avenue.
The concept design is on display for community comment until Friday 14 December at www.rms.nsw.gov.au/roadprojects or hard copies can be ordered by calling project manager John Kalantzis on (02) 8849 2610.

Community comments regarding the proposed upgrade of Boundary Street will be considered by RMS, and a community issues report will be prepared and the issues considered in the review of environmental factors.
“The detailed design with any changes as a result of community comment will be available early in the new year,” the local MPs said.
