Member for Davidson, Jonathan O'Dea has announced Kambora Public School in Davidson will receive additional capital works funding as part of the Liberal & Nationals Government’s 2012-13 Budget.

"The allocation will provide for safety fencing to improve amenities at the school," Mr O'Dea said.

The works are scheduled to be completed within the 2012/13 financial year.

Funding for the project was approved in the recent State Budget.

In 2012/13, the NSW Government is spending $447 million in capital works funding at NSW schools.

"In addition to this project, capital works funding will go towards nine major new building developments," Mr O'Dea said.

"These include the provision of a new Technological and Applied Studies (TAS) facility and other works at Killara High School.

"The budget also provides for the continuation of 19 more major projects, and numerous minor capital works projects.

“The Liberal & Nationals Government is determined to provide the best learning environments possible in our schools,” Mr O'Dea said.
