NSW Premier, Barry O'Farrell addressed the sixth annual Davidson Business Breakfast this morning, hosted by local MP, Jonathan O'Dea.
There were over 200 people at the breakfast, held in the dining room at NSW Parliament House.
The breakfast attracted 20 state parliamentarians (including Ministers), business people, Liberal Party Members (particularly from the local area), community leaders, (including Warringah Mayor Michael Regan) and individual supporters.
Premier O'Farrell's speech focussed on the achievements of the first year in government across a range of portfolios and the government's plans for the future.
In introducing the Premier, Mr O'Dea spoke on the importance of rebuilding community trust in government over the past year.
He said, "We now have a far more accountable government than a year ago – where honesty, openness and integrity are paramount.
"Trust is needed for any government to achieve its goals in service of the public.
"That is why it has been so important for Premier O'Farrell to have strengthened our governance and accountability structures to rebuild trust in government." Mr O'Dea said.
