Member for Davidson, Jonathan O’Dea, today announced almost $300,000 in funding has been allocated for upgrades to St Ives Showground.

Mr O’Dea said the funding is being provided by the NSW Government under phase 2 of its COVID-19 Showground Stimulus Program.

The new multi-use indoor sports centre at St Ives High School is now complete, part of a $25 million upgrade to the school.

The new sports centre includes two sports courts, two new learning spaces, a fitness lab, and a seminar room.

Two grassroots cricket clubs in the Davidson electorate will receive funding to increase female participation in the sport.
