Member for Davidson, Jonathan O’Dea is encouraging small business operators to take advantage of the Small Biz Bus visiting St Ives next week.
Mr O’Dea said the NSW Government recognises the important role of small business in maintaining a healthy economy through providing thousands of employment opportunities.
“As part of the Small Biz Connect program, Small Biz Buses are traveling around NSW to provide face-to-face, personalised advice and information based on individual circumstances,” Mr O’Dea said.
“Advisors can provide a fresh perspective on topics including starting up a business, skills to grow and marketing.
“Services on the Small Biz Bus are at no cost and are provided by independent business advisors with real small business experience. They are completely confidential,” Mr O’Dea said.
The Small Biz Bus will be at St Ives Village Green, opposite the St Ives Shopping Centre next Monday (10 August) from 9.00am to 3.00pm.
Advisors on the day will be from Sydney Business and local businesses can call 1300 134 359 to make an appointment.
Mr O’Dea said, “The Small Biz Connect program can provide practical guidance to a business operator at any stage of their journey from idea, to start-up, expansion, or even an exit plan.
“Last year almost 45,000 hours of practical business support was provided to small business owners and operators at locations convenient to them.
“I encourage local business operators who are seeking advice on any aspect of their business to make an appointment with the Small Biz Bus during next Monday’s St Ives visit, by calling 1300 134 359,” Mr O’Dea concluded.
