Roseville local, Frank Windeyer, has received a NSW Government Community Service Award for his outstanding contribution to the local community.
Member for Davidson, Jonathan O’Dea, congratulated Mr Windeyer on his extensive community involvement.
“Frank is a respected lawyer who has admirably contributed to several community organisations over many years,” Mr O’Dea said.
For over five years, Frank has been the President of Easy Care Gardening, a community organisation with hundreds of volunteers and over 1000 clients that helps older people, and eligible clients with a disability to maintain their gardens.
Frank is a member and past president of the Lindfield Rotary Club. He was also a member of the Army Reserve, rising to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel and receiving the Reserve Forces Decoration for long service. In addition, Frank was a leader in the Scout Association for nearly 30 years.
“I commend Frank on his continuing community contributions and wish him all the best personally,” Mr O’Dea concluded.
The NSW Government Community Service Awards recognise individuals who have substantially helped to improve the quality of life for members of their community. This is beyond what would reasonably be expected in their usual occupation.
