For the second parliamentary term, Davidson MP, Jonathan O’Dea has topped the list of the most responsive NSW MPs.

The ratings have been released by the Votergram service, which compares the responses to Votergrams of all MPs in the NSW Parliament.

“I have always considered my role is to serve and that responding to personal communications is an important part of my job,” Mr O’Dea said.

“I endeavor to assist through either a direct response or, where appropriate, by making representations to a relevant Minister.

The Davidson MPs response rate has won high praise from the Votergram service founder, Mr Greg Bloomfield of FairGO.

“Mr O’Dea is surely one of the most outstanding MPs in the NSW Parliament. (He is) by far the most responsive MP,” Mr Bloomfield said.

For the past 25 years the Votergram service has been run by FairGO, an independent organisation that assists and advises individuals, small businesses and community groups wanting to influence governments more effectively.

The service enables any member of the public to send a message to all MPs. The voters’ messages go to each MP simultaneously, enabling them to be rated against each other.
