Member for Davidson, Jonathan O’Dea has congratulated local students on their HSC results, released today.
“The HSC can be a stressful time for students, so the release of results today will be a relief for many,” Mr O’Dea said.
“I wish our local HSC students all the very best for their next step, whether it’s a gap year, employment, university or TAFE.”
A number of Davidson electorate students are among the distinguished achievers in this year’s HSC.
First in Course honours have gone to Adam Kaplan of Masada College for Economics and to George Zeman of St Ives High School for French Beginners.
387 Davidson electorate school students have been acknowledged as Distinguished Achievers comprising 140 from Killara High School, 72 from Brigidine College, 55 from Roseville College, 37 from Masada College, 25 from Davidson High and 19 students from Covenant Christian School.
“Almost 70,000 students sat at least one HSC subject this year. So, these students should be very proud of having attained such an incredible achievement,” Mr O’Dea said.
“The HSC is a qualification that will be a pathway to further study for many students. But it is important to remember that it is just one way of getting into the university course or career you want to pursue.”
Eligible students can download their HSC certificate and other credentials from 30 December.
The official HSC certificates are due to arrive by post from 20 January.
