Daylight saving ends on Sunday, 3 April 2016 when clocks need to be turned back one hour at 3.00am, to 2.00am.
“I have to remember to change the clocks on Saturday night as the Lindfield Rotary Fun Run begins at 8.00am on Sunday, and I’ll appreciate that extra hour of sleep,” Mr O’Dea said.
Daylight saving is held from the first Sunday in October until the first Sunday in April in all Australian states and territories except Queensland, Western Australia and the Northern Territory where daylight saving is not observed.
Sunday 3 April 2016 is the 21st Lindfield Rotary Fun Run with the 5km route beginning at 8.00am and the 10km route starting at 8.15am from Roseville Oval, Clanville Road, Roseville.
“I encourage everyone to increase their fitness and participate in local fun runs. They generally promote community connections and well-being while raising money for good causes.” Mr O’Dea concluded.
