Member for Davidson, Jonathan O’Dea has welcomed the latest Bureau of Crime Statistics and Research (BOSCAR) data, which shows major crime categories continuing to trend down in the Ku-ring-gai and Warringah Local Government Areas.

These latest figures reflect the Baird Government’s commitment to continue cracking down on all crime.

“In the Warringah LGA, Domestic Violence-related Assaults have dropped 23.3%, although more work is needed with Malicious Damage to Property, which has risen 11.9%.

In the Ku-ring-gai LGA, Break and Enter in non-dwellings has seen a significant fall of 30%.

This is a great achievement from our police and local communities working together.

On behalf of the local community, I thank our police officers for their continued great work to crack down on local criminal activity.” Mr O’Dea said.
