Jonathan O’Dea, Member for Davidson, is encouraging the community to have a say on the relocation of traffic lights at the intersection of the Pacific Highway and Tryon Place at Lindfield and on the Pacific Highway at Roseville for improved motorist safety.

“The NSW Government has provided $32,000 for a proposal to relocate a traffic light from the centre median to a mast arm on the western side of the highway to improve safety at the intersection near Lindfield train station,” Mr O’Dea said.

“The NSW Government is also funding another proposal to move a traffic light near Roseville train station from the centre median to a mast arm on the western side of the highway.

“The modifications aim to reduce the number of incidents of vehicles hitting and damaging the traffic light post on the centre median and improve visibility for motorists travelling north on approach to the intersection. The short pedestrian posts and bollards in the centre of the road will remain.

Community members are encouraged to provide feedback to LT Joint Venture, PO Box 380 Rockdale NSW 2116 or via email to info@ltjv.com.au

“All feedback will be considered in finalising the proposal and community members are encouraged to have their say by Friday 4 December.

“The community will continue to be updated as the project progresses.” Mr O’Dea concluded.
