Member for Davidson, Jonathan O’Dea is calling on the community to nominate an outstanding woman from the Davidson electorate for the Local Woman of the Year award.
Mr O’Dea said the search has begun for exceptional women to be recognised.
The Local Woman of the Year Award will be presented in association with the fifth annual NSW Women of the Year Awards, conducted by the NSW Government to officially recognise the phenomenal contribution women make in society.
“I am calling on the community to nominate impressive local women from all walks of life who deserve recognition for their outstanding achievements.
“In every NSW community there are women who stand out with inspiring success stories.
Nominations for the Local Woman of the Year must be submitted by 14 December.
“Now is the time to nominate an impressive local woman you know,” Mr O’Dea said.
Nominations, along with any supporting information, should be sent to: davidson@parliament.nsw.gov.au.
“Don’t miss out on acknowledging a remarkable woman from our local community,” Mr O’Dea said.
