Member for Davidson, Jonathan O’Dea has written to every household in his electorate to provide a snapshot of local news and activities.
“Almost 28,000 newsletters have been posted to help keep constituents up to date with an active electorate,” Mr O’Dea said.
“A cut-out ‘In Case of Emergency’ or ‘ICE’ card has been provided with each newsletter and I encourage residents to fill in the details and keep the card in their wallet or purse.
“The flip-side contains emergency numbers for water, gas, electricity, Crime Stoppers, Lifeline, Police, Ambulance and Fire as well as the SES.”
Also covered is an update on the Glenrose Shopping Centre Development Application, which will come before the Regional Planning Panel on 17 July – not 8 July as previously advised.
“NSW Budget highlights for the northern Sydney area have also been enclosed, including a large investment in hospitals,” Mr O’Dea said.
“Over $50 million has been allocated to initial construction works for the new Northern Beaches Hospital and Community Health Centre facilities at Frenchs Forest as well as $400 million for associated road works.
“Should anyone not have received a copy of my newsletter, they are most welcome to contact my office and one will be sent out,” Mr O’Dea said.
