Vehicle owners in Davidson Electorate are urged to check their eligibility for a CTP Green Slip refund, with the 30 September deadline fast approaching, millions of dollars still unclaimed from policyholders across NSW.
Member for Davidson, Jonathan O’Dea, said more than $194 million has been claimed by over 3 million policyholders state wide. Any unclaimed money will go towards further reducing Green Slips, by lowering the motor accidents levy.
“We are committed to easing the cost of living for households, which is why we delivered this refund, potentially worth up to $120 per refund,” Mr O’Dea said.
“Claiming a refund is simple and easy and can be done via Service NSW either online, over the phone or in store.
“Any unclaimed money will go towards offsetting Green Slip levies from January 2020. The refund is a double win for drivers, who are paying $490 on average for premiums – the most affordable since 2011” Mr O’Dea said.
CTP refunds are one of more than 70 cost of living rebates and savings available to households. Others include Energy Switch, the FuelCheck app and $100 Active Kids and Creative Kids vouchers.
